Data and purposes
The contact form handles a reply address, page URL, message, and consent record for review, replies, corrections, removal, rights, privacy, and security handling. Messages are not published automatically.
Precise location is used only inside the browser after permission and is not sent to or stored by the service. The first-party cookie “machi_locale” stores the Japanese or English choice for up to one year.
Cloudflare may process IP addresses, request times, and request information for delivery, protection, and rate limiting. Public analytics, advertising, and payments are disabled.
Processors and international handling
Cloudflare is used for delivery, databases, protection, and contact forwarding. GitHub is used for source control, CI, and encrypted backup artifacts. Processing may occur outside Japan under each provider's contracts and privacy terms.
Retention
Contact mail is normally deleted after 90 days, encrypted backups after 14 days, and the language cookie after at most one year. Security logs follow the active plan's retention. Candidate and audit records are retained while needed for provenance and corrections and reviewed at least annually. Retention may be extended when required for law, disputes, or security investigations.
Requests
Use the on-site contact form for access, correction, deletion, suspension, or complaints. The operator may request the minimum additional information needed to verify the requester or rights holder.
